Captain of the Black Stars Ghana, Andre Dede Ayew has vowed to break the 39 years trophy drought of his national team by winning the AFCON and the world cup for his country before he hangs his boot.
The Stars Skipper made this comment on his Facebook wall ahead of the upcoming AFCON in Cameroon.
Andre Ayew was first called to the Black Stars on August 7th 2007 by Claude Le Roy and has since made 100 appearances for the stars and scored 22 goals.
The Al Sadd attacker led the Black Satellites of Ghana to lift the U-20 African cup of nations in Rwanda in 2009 and went on as captain to win the FIFA U-20 world cup in Egypt in the same year against all odds.
The black Stars have had some difficulties in recent games but Ayew believes the stars have enough quality to end the drought of the country in Cameroon.
