Ugandan man last Saturday wrestled and killed a lion without using any weapon in the Eastern part of Uganda.
The incident occurred while the man was returning to his house.
Many social media users in Africa see the scary story of the Ugandan man as heroic.
According to Local media reports, the man lives in a small village in the Mpefu Kagadi district of the Eastern part of Ugandan where wild animals including lions are housed.
The man became a hero shortly after killing the dangerous animal upon meeting it close to his house.
Reports says the animal have been tormenting the locals residents for some time now.
Looking at how fiercely the man fought the lion, he sustained multiple wounds where he was immediately rushed to the hospital.
A local council chief announced plans to crown him king of the jungle when he returns home from the hospital.
”We are just waiting for him to come back from the hospital today and we are planning to crown him “new king of the jungle”,.
He further noted that the ‘’creature has been a real problem in this village’’.
Meanwhile Ugandan media have also reported that the central government wildlife authorities say the lion killer must explain why he did not run to save his life but decided to fight and kill the animal.
