The Vice Chairman of the National Youth Working Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that the next NDC government under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama will ensure the timely recruitment of both nurses and teacher trainees in the country.
The youth leader explained that the timely posting of trainees who have completed their various professional disciplines will bring great financial and economic relief to both trainees and their dependants.
The son of the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress said the continous delay in posting trained nurses and teachers does not only worsen the economic plight of the unemployed youth but also defeats the very purposes of their training.
Dr. Nana Kwaku Asiedu Nketiah Jnr gave the assurance when addressing a forum organized by the Offinso College of Education chapter of the Tertiary Education Institute Network (TEIN) at Offinso in the Ashanti region on Sunday.
Dr. Asiedu Nketiah told the elated teacher trainees and their sister nursing students from the ST. Patrick Nursing And Midwifery College that the assurance is not his personal promise but that of the flag bearer of the party.
Speaking on the theme ” Rising Graduate Youth Unemployment , NDC Policy To Address The Menace”, the National Youth Working Committee Vice Chairman , said the incoming NDC government has many good youth centered programs and policies that will address the current teaming unemployment among the Ghanaian youth.
Dr. Nana Kweku Asiedu Nketiah pointed that the NPP under the leadership Nana Akuffo Addo and the current Vice President and flagbearer, Dr. Mohamadu Bawumia has nothing better for the youth of the country.
He argued that the only way to restore current hopelessness of the Ghanaian youth is to vote against this corrupt and incompetent NPP government.
He appealed to the youth in the country to stay committed to the cause of the party and work hard to ensure that the NDC and President John Dramani wrestle power from the looting brigade.
