Enock Nyarko is a Ghanaian Politician, Business man and philanthropist. He was born on the 10th of November 1989 in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
His parents are Nicholas Badu from Goka in the Jaman North District and Rosina Nyarko from Asuokor also in Jaman North District in Bono Region. Both parents were farmers.
Education:
Young Enock Nyarko had his basic school education at Nichomen International School at Anloga, Kumasi. He continued to Boakye Tromo Senior High at Duah Yaw Nkwanta in Bono Region. He then returned to the Garden City Senior High School in Kumasi where he completed his Senior High Education. He later did his Certificate in Business Studies at PDF College in Kumasi.
He also did Advanced Diploma at the Accra Business School.
In 2020, Enock Nyarko enrolled at the University of Media Arts and Communication where he is currently studying Bilingual and Business Administration after which he will graduate with Bachelor Degree.
Career and business background:
Candidate Enock Nyarko started his career as a young Businessman and Philanthropist in early 2012.
He set up his first transport business called MONOCKS Transport. He then established the MONOCKS Printing Press, MONOCKS Timbers, MONOCKS Sawmill and MONOCKS Pharmacy. He went on to set up MONOCKS 89 with which he deals in building materials and construction hardware, EN Gate Ventures and MONOCKS Herbal.
Philanthropic Deeds:
To give back to society, Mr Enock Nyarko founded the Enock Nyarko Charity Foundation in 2021 to provide educational and skills development support for the youth in his constituency. Between 2022 and 2023, the foundation had supported a lot of communities in the district with various social amenities and economic endeavors. The Charity Foundation has also provided educational support such as scholarship to serveral brilliant but needy students across different basic, secondary and tertiary institutions in the country.
Before embarking on his political journey, he had undertaken and successfully completed a lot of humanitarian projects to support the less-privilaged within and outside his constituency.
Political Background :
Enock Nyarko is a deeply rooted member of the ruling New Patriotic Party and the Parliamentary Candidate of the party for the Jaman North Constituency in the upcoming 2024 presidential and Parliamentary elections.
On Saturday, December 2, 2023 he contested with five other candidates of his party in the party’s parliamentary primaries. The young politician faced stiff opposition from his main contender Siaka Stephens, the former Member of Parliament of the constituency.
At the end of the election, Enock Nyarko polled 375 votes, while his main contender, Siaka Stephens, trailed behind with 86 votes. DCE for the area, Solomon Owusu had 48 votes. Linda Nyarko, the only woman amongst the men, got 25 votes. Eric Yeboah also polled 25 votes, whereas Yaya Tuwale had 20 votes.
Mr. Enock Nyarko is now set to face the incumbent Member of Parliament, Frederick Yaw Amankwah, of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections.
Before elected as the New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate in 2023, he was a party financier.
Personal and Social life:
Enock Nyarko is happily married to Monica Ankrah, both devoted Christians. They are blessed with three children.
