The Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), France Chapter has congratulated Her Excellency Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang on her election as the first female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.
Hajia Azu Najat in her congratulatory message on behalf of her chapter described the Vice President elect as”an ideal and accomplished woman, a role model and a shining example for women across Africa and beyond.
Hajia Najat speaking to journalists in Kumasi in the Ashanti region commended Prof. Opoku Agyemang for her courage and availing herself to run for the second highest political office of the land.
“We the members of the NDC France Chapter Congratulate Her Excellency Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang on her election as the first female Vice president of Ghana. Ghana and Africa women are proud of you”.
The France Chapter Women’s Organizer observed that many women across the globe especially Ghana and Africa will take inspirations from Prof. Agyemang and aspire higher in their various chosen endeavors.
Hajia Najat also expressed her chapter’s profound gratitude to the president elect, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for choosing a women as his running mate and now vice president.
“We are also very grateful to our father and president elect of the land, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for choosing a women as his running mate and now vice president. Our chapter and Ghanaian women will for ever be grateful to you for bringing honor to all Ghanaian and Africa women “, Hajia Najat stated.
She said NDC France will continue to remain loyal to the progress and well-being of the NDC, the incoming government and the country.
She encouraged the president and vice president elect to embrace themselves for the task ahead while appealing to Ghanaians both home and abroad to give the incoming administration the needed support and cooperation to help restore the country to its past glory.
